Firm appoints Ari Landsberg as Managing Director, Investments and Steve Kosoris as Director, Investor Relations in North America Series of promotions includes Christopher Hirschman, Justinas Tuminauskas and George Lee to Director, and Jack Matthew to Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel NEW YORK and LONDON – January 29, 2025 – 17Capital, a private credit manager specializing in NAV finance for the private equity industry, today announced the appointments of Aryeh (“Ari”) Landsberg as Managing Director, Investments, North America, and Stephen (“Steve”) Kosoris, as Director, Investor Relations, North America. This news follows strong deployment of capital from 17Capital, reporting more than $2 billion across 14 investments in 2024. In their respective positions, Ari will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting and executing investments, and Steve will support the growth of 17Capital’s investor relationships in the U.S., leveraging their expertise to help drive the firm’s strategic global growth. Ari will join 17Capital’s New York office and focus on expanding 17Capital’s investment opportunities in North America. He brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services, most recently from Barclays, where he spent 14 years on the Fund Finance Structuring team originating and structuring financing transactions across private equity, hedge funds and alternative asset portfolios. Based in Austin, Texas, Steve will focus on supporting and building investor relationships across the Midwest region of the U.S. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, including most recently at Russell Investments and Dimensional Fund Advisors.     17Capital announces opening of New York office

    17Capital, the London-headquartered private equity firm, is pleased to announce the opening of an office in New York. A local presence will enable the firm to reinforce client relationships and increase its already significant investment activity across North America. The office complements 17Capital’s long-established European base. 17Capital has invested in a number of transactions across North America, including providing additional capital for buyout funds to make add-on acquisitions.   The New York investment team includes:   Robert de Corainville, Partner  
Robert joined 17Capital in 2010 and is relocating from London to head up the US office. He has over 15 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Robert has led a number of the firm’s recent transactions in both North America and Europe Stephen Swentzel, Investment Director
Stephen joined 17Capital in September 2016. His previous experience includes: HQ Capital PE and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Michael Weinstein, Associate
Michael joined 17Capital in 2014 and is also relocating from London to the New York office. He previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Jeffrey Emmerling, Associate

    17Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Beverly Berman as a Senior Advisor. Beverly was previously a Managing Director, Investor Relations, at Thomas H. Lee Partners. Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners in 2008, she was a partner at Advent International responsible for LP Services and fund marketing activities in North America and previously a Portfolio Manager of Alternative Investments for the Public Employees’ Retirement Association of Colorado.
